kitchen poetry no. 5

A really small, tiny ceramic chicken keeping me company on top of my stove while cooking spaghetti.
I can hear Anne-Marie singing in her room down the hall and Paul cheering while watching hockey in the living room.
I feel good. Plain, simple , friday night.

  2. Thank you Jilly! it should be Le poulet est chouette. I know it is stupid but in french words have sexes... some are girls and other boys. We call that féminin et masculin.
So, une poule is a hen and un poulet is a chicken. I like my chicken so much! it's about 1 cm high and comes from Limoges.
    Thanks for stopping by!
